How do I book a course?
Request a quote through the website, by email or WhatsApp. We'll confirm availability and prices, and your place is secured with a deposit. See our booking page for full details.
What ages do you accept?
Juniors from age 9 (homestay from age 10), adults with no upper limit. Our oldest students are in their seventies!
What's included in the price?
Your quote itemises everything: tuition, accommodation, meals, activities and transfers as selected — no hidden fees.
Where will I live?
Most students choose homestay with one of our carefully selected local families, all within walking distance or a short bus ride. Adults 18+ can choose self-catered residential, and guesthouses are available nearby.
How do I know my level?
Everyone takes a placement test on arrival (or online in advance, on request), so you always start in the right class. See our Guide to Levels.
How many students per class?
Classes are kept small and friendly — exact maximums vary by season; ask us for current details.
Do you arrange airport transfers?
Yes, from Bournemouth, Heathrow, Gatwick and other airports — including meet-and-greet and unaccompanied-minor services for juniors.
Is Bournemouth safe?
Southbourne is a quiet, friendly residential suburb — one of the reasons parents and agents have trusted us for 60 years. Our welfare team is also reachable 24/7.
Are your staff and homestay hosts checked?
Yes. Every member of school staff holds a current enhanced DBS check. Homestay hosts who accommodate students under 18 are DBS checked too, and our Accommodation Officer visits and inspects every home in person, whatever the age of the student.
Do I need insurance?
We strongly recommend it, and can include Multi-Risk + Cancellation insurance with Guard.me in your quote.
Can I extend my course once I'm here?
Yes — most long-term students do! Speak to the office and we'll arrange it, subject to availability and visa rules.
