Summer at Southbourne 2014

Summer 2014

This summer, Southbourne School of English is already expecting forty nationalities at the main centre alone, with more bookings from new nationalities coming in every week! Our students can look forward to a fantastic summer of learning, fun at the beach, meeting people from all over the world and becoming fast friends and part of the excitement that our multi-cultural environment creates.

Our full daily activities programme ensures that there will never be a dull moment during your free time in Bournemouth. Both adults and juniors can take part in a wide range of activities including sports (football, volleyball, tennis, etc), swimming, visits to places of local beauty or historical and cultural interest, and the always-important shopping trips to pick up souvenirs for friends and family!

On top of this are our incredibly popular full-day excursions which take place every Saturday! These are included with all summer vacation courses and provide students with the chance to visit some of the country’s major cities, including London, Oxford, Bath, and Brighton.

With Bournemouth’s golden beaches just a fifteen minute walk from the school, and the town centre a short bus-ride away, spending your summer at Southbourne School of English is a guaranteed great time!

Halloween 2011

Witches spotted at Southbourne School of English!

On Monday night it was Halloween at Southbourne School of English! The vampires, witches, ghosts, and students of Southbourne School turned out in force to party into the depths of night!

‘Bat cheese’, ‘spider cakes’, and other treats favoured by the living dead were on the menu and were washed down with some ‘potion punch’. To round the night off students voted for the ‘best fancy dress’.

Big thanks go to Kathryn, for putting so much effort into an excellent event, and to all the students who turned up and made the evening so much fun. A fantastic time was had by all!

New website launch

Southbourne School of English has a brand new website

As part of Southbourne School’s ongoing development, and with the future in mind, we have been working on our brand new, up-to-date website for the last eight months. After a great deal of time and effort put in by all involved, the new website has finally gone live! We are incredibly excited with both the look and feel of the new site, which is easy to use and reflects the school’s modern yet welcoming environment. We hope it reinforces Southbourne School of English’s existing reputation as one of Bournemouth’s top English language schools. Please have a look around – we hope you like the new website!

Best wishes,
Paul Gallina, and the whole team at Southbourne School of English
