School Activities<\/h1>

We run fun and varied school activities for adults and juniors during our summer courses, with evening activities year round!<\/h4>\n\t

On the first day, students of all ages are checked in and given a walking tour of Southbourne<\/a><\/strong> to become familiar with the local area.<\/p>\n

During the summer, there are many opportunities to visit popular local destinations such as Bournemouth<\/a><\/strong>, Hengistbury Head<\/a><\/strong>, Castlepoint Shopping Centre<\/a><\/strong> and Poole<\/a><\/strong> town, as well as sports such as tennis, beach volleyball and football.<\/p>\n

Most of our local trips and excursions include transport, a walking tour with one or more of our activity leaders, and free time for adult students.<\/p>\n

Adult students enjoy afternoon activities, whereas junior students enjoy morning activities. The reason adult and junior students have different timetables is mainly to safeguard our student’s.<\/p>\n

We open the school on two to three evenings a week for social activities such as s’mores on the beach (dependent on weather), film nights, quizzes, karaoke and games evenings! These social events are a great chance to practise your English while making new friends.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n

Day Trips<\/h2>\n

On the weekend, we also offer full day excursions to popular destinations further away, like London<\/a><\/strong>, Oxford<\/a><\/strong> and Bath<\/a><\/strong> on Saturdays, and Thorpe Park Theme Park<\/a><\/strong>, Winchester<\/a><\/strong> or New Forest national park<\/a><\/strong> on Sundays. Weekend trips are an ideal way to see more of the UK. We also arrange trips to Winchester and Salisbury to their magnificent cathedrals.<\/p>\n
