Latest Flight Schedule Update: 12.10.2026
Bournemouth Airport have once again updated their growing flight schedule, offering 49 destinations in 19 different countries (based on last update specified above) – including Switzerland, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, and more! This has made it even easier for international students from around the world to travel to and from Bournemouth and our English school. Take a look at our personal favourite destinations in no particular order:

1. Geneva – Switzerland
Flight days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday Dates: 27th November 2026 – 27th March 2027 (winter season, easyJet)
Geneva, nestled on the shores of Lake Geneva with stunning views of the Alps, offers a blend of natural beauty and cosmopolitan appeal. Renowned for its international organisations, it boasts a rich cultural scene, historic Old Town, luxury shopping, and outdoor pursuits, making it a truly captivating destination.
2. Malaga – Spain
Flight days: Monday, Thursday, Friday all year, plus Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday in summer Dates: Year round (Ryanair)
Málaga, on Spain’s Costa del Sol, combines sunny beaches with rich history. Known for the Alcazaba fortress, Picasso Museum, and vibrant streets filled with tapas bars, it offers a perfect mix of relaxation and culture.
3. Reykjavik – Iceland
Flight days: Friday Dates: 12th February 2027 (Jet2)
Reykjavik, Iceland’s capital, is a vibrant blend of modern culture and natural wonders. Visitors can explore colourful streets, unique museums, and cosy cafés, all set against stunning landscapes. With nearby geothermal spas, Northern Lights views, and easy access to breathtaking nature, Reykjavik is an unforgettable destination.
4. Carcassonne – France
Flight days: Wednesday and Saturday Dates: 1st May – 29th September 2027 (Ryanair)
Carcassonne is a stunning medieval city in southern France, famous for its remarkably preserved fortified citadel. Surrounded by double walls and dozens of watchtowers, the old town looks like something out of a fairy tale, with narrow cobbled streets, stone ramparts, and panoramic views over the surrounding countryside. Rich in history from Roman times through the Middle Ages, Carcassonne is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a must-visit destination for its architecture, atmosphere, and timeless charm.
5. Krakow – Poland

Kraków, Poland, charms with its medieval architecture and lively cultural scene. The historic Old Town, featuring Wawel Castle and Main Market Square, offers enchanting streets, historic churches, and bustling cafés.
6. Trapani – Italy
Flight days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday Dates: 28th March – 27th October 2027 (Ryanair)
Trapani is a historic coastal city on the western tip of Sicily, known for its long maritime tradition and laid-back Mediterranean charm. Set between the sea and Mount Erice, the city features a graceful old town with narrow streets, baroque churches, and sunlit piazzas. Famous for its salt pans, fresh seafood, and access to the Egadi Islands, Trapani offers a blend of rich history, natural beauty, and authentic Sicilian life.
7. Zadar – Croatia
Flight days: Tuesday and Saturday Dates: 1st June – 28th September 2027 (Ryanair)
Zadar, on Croatia’s Dalmatian coast, features ancient Roman ruins, a scenic waterfront, and unique attractions like the Sea Organ. With its charming old town and stunning sunsets, it’s a bit of a hidden gem among Croatia’s more widely know destinations.
8. Agadir – Morocco
Flight days: Friday Dates: 6th November 2026 – 12th March 2027 | 5th November 2027 – 17th March 2028 (Jet2)
Agadir, Morocco, is famous for its sandy beaches and modern resorts. With charming markets, rich local cuisine, and year-round sunshine, it’s an ideal destination for a relaxing coastal getaway.
9. Faro – Portugal
Flight days: Monday – Friday and Sunday Dates: 26th March – 29th October 2027 (Jet2 and Ryanair)
Faro, located in Portugal’s Algarve, boasts a picturesque old town, beautiful beaches, and a lovely marina. Its mix of historical charm, natural beauty, and pleasant weather makes it an inviting destination.
10. Antalya – Turkey
Flight days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday Dates: 6th March – 20th November 2027 (Jet2 and TUI)
Antalya, on Turkey’s Mediterranean coast, is known for its stunning beaches, historic old town, and nearby ancient ruins. Its combination of natural beauty and cultural heritage makes it a delightful sunny retreat!
11. Paris – France
Flight days: Monday and Friday Dates: 26th March – 29th October 2027 (Jet2, new route)
Paris needs little introduction: the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Montmartre and the Seine, all wrapped up in elegant boulevards and pavement cafés. New for 2027, the direct flight to Charles de Gaulle makes it an easy long weekend from Bournemouth, perfect for art, food and a little French practice alongside your English.
12. Lake Garda – Italy
Flight days: Wednesday Dates: 26th May – 29th September 2027 (Jet2 to Verona, new route)
Lake Garda is Italy’s largest lake, ringed by mountains, lemon groves and pastel-coloured villages such as Limone, Malcesine and Sirmione. Flights land in Verona, the city of Romeo and Juliet and its famous Roman arena, making this a lovely summer trip that combines lakeside relaxation with history and culture.
13. Porto – Portugal
Flight days: Wednesday and Saturday Dates: 31st March – 2nd October 2027 (Ryanair, new route)
Porto tumbles down the hillside to the Douro river in a jumble of colourful houses, tiled churches and lively riverside terraces. Walk across the Dom Luís I bridge, take a boat trip along the river and visit the famous port wine cellars: it’s one of Europe’s most charming and affordable city breaks.
14. Jersey – Channel Islands
Flight days: Saturday Dates: 22nd May – 25th September 2027 (Jet2, new route)
Just a short hop across the English Channel, Jersey feels like a world away, with golden beaches, clifftop walks, castles and pretty harbours like St Aubin. It mixes British and French influences, so it’s a great place to practise your English while enjoying a seaside island break.
15. Innsbruck – Austria
Flight days: Monday and Saturday Dates: 20th & 27th December 2027, then 8th January – 4th March 2028 (ski holidays with Crystal Ski, new)
Innsbruck sits in the heart of the Austrian Alps, surrounded by some of Europe’s best ski resorts. These new winter ski holidays fly direct from Bournemouth, so you can swap the beach for the slopes: snowy mountains, cosy alpine villages and a historic old town full of colourful buildings and Christmas markets.
